Chapter 10.52 — SCHEDULES OF DESIGNATED STREETS

In accordance with Section 10.20.010 and when properly signposted, traffic shall move only in the direction indicated upon the following streets: [NONE].

In accordance with the provisions of Section 10.24.020A and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall stop at the entrance or entrances to those intersections described as follows:

A.

Fresno Street at I, J and K Streets;

B.

J Street at Tulare, Merced, Tuolumne, Stanislaus and King Streets;

C.

Manning Avenue at J and K Streets.

Traffic signs of a type approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles of the state with the word "STOP" thereon shall be placed at the following intersections in the city:

In accordance with the provisions of Section 10.24.020C and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall stop before crossing the railroad tracks at those highway railway grade crossings described as follows:

Fresno Street and I Street.

In accordance with Section 10.36.050 and when the pavement is marked or signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles may stand or park a vehicle only as indicated by such marks or signs on the following streets or portions thereof:

Fresno (Newmark to "H")

Tulare (Newmark to Bigger)

Fig (Third to Fourth)

Third (Newmark to Fig)

"K" (Merced to 1st alley south).

In accordance with Section 10.44.010 and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall at any time park a vehicle upon any of the following described streets or parts of streets: [NONE].

A.

When signs reading "no truck parking this side" are in place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park any truck on the street or in places marked for parking on:

The south side of Fresno Street, between I Street and Newmark Avenue;

Both sides of J Street, between Tulare Street and Fresno Street.

B.

It is unlawful and a misdemeanor for any person to fail to comply with said notices when said "no truck parking this side" signs are displayed.

In accordance with Section 10.44.050 and when signs are erected giving notice thereof the following streets or portions of streets are hereby declared to be truck traffic routes for the movement of vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight of three tons:

Academy;

B.

Manning;

C.

Mendocino;

D.

Newmark;

E.

Zediker.
