§ 3.28.010. Created.

In accordance with Sections 40100 through 40103, Chapter 16 of the Government Code, a publicity and advertising fund is created.

§ 3.28.020. Purpose.

All funds appropriated under this chapter shall be expended for promotion by the Chamber of Commerce of the advantages of the City as a business, industrial and residential center and the dissemination of information relative thereto.

§ 3.28.030. Claims against fund.

All legal claims against the publicity and advertising fund are legal claims against the general fund of the City.

§ 3.28.040. Allocation.

The City Council may allocate the funds to a suitable nongovernmental organization by written contract to carry out the purposes enumerated in PMC § 3.28.020. Any such contract shall provide for termination by either party thereto on 30 days' written notice to the other party.
