8.08.010 - Burning of garbage prohibited.

It is unlawful to burn or cause to be burned, in the city, any garbage.

8.08.020 - Prohibition of all burning within incorporated city limits.

A. Outside burning of all kinds within the incorporated limits of the city is prohibited. The following exceptions shall apply:

  1. Cooking of food products within appropriate barbecue on public or private residential property;

  2. Fire department training exercises which include burn-down of buildings or other structures when under the supervision of fire chief or his/her designee.

B. Violation of this section shall constitute an infraction and shall be punishable in accordance with Section 1.12.020 of this code.
