Orland Municipal Code Ch. 12.24 Library Park

Library Park is located within the city and bounded by the city streets of Yolo on the south; Fourth Street on the west; Mill Street on the north; and Third Street on the east.

Except as engaged in a city-approved event, motorized bicycles, motorcycles and motor vehicles other than emergency vehicles are prohibited and no person may possess, use or cause to possess or use any such vehicle described in this section inside the confines of Library Park as described in this chapter.

The riding of bicycles and skateboards is prohibited inside the confines of and upon any sidewalks of Library Park as described in this chapter. Bicycles shall be walked and skateboards carried within Library Park.

Horses are prohibited and no person may possess or use a horse inside the confines of Library Park as described in this chapter. For good cause on special occasions the city park's superintendent may waive the provision of this section. Such waiver must be requested prior to entering of the Library Park.

The possession and/or consumption of alcohol in Library Park is prohibited, except as approved in advance in writing pursuant to a city-approved permit.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter may be removed from Library Park upon order of the Orland city park superintendent, any Orland city police officer, and/or any authorized employee, or officer of the city. When ordered to leave, such person may not re-enter Library Park for a period of at least twenty-four (24) hours.

Any person violating any provisions of this chapter shall be punished pursuant to Chapter 1.12 of this code. Violation may be deemed to be either a misdemeanor or an infraction.
