Sec. 4-8-1. - Definition.¶
As used in this article, the term "employee housing" shall mean any employee housing, as defined in section 17008 of the California Health and Safety Code.

Sec. 4-8-2. - Enforcement responsibility.¶
Pursuant to section 17050 of the California Health & Safety Code, this County has assumed responsibility for the enforcement of Chapters 1—6, Part 1, Division 13 of the Health & Safety Code, and regulations adopted thereunder, in the unincorporated territory of Orange County.

Sec. 4-8-3. - Permit to operate fees.¶
Pursuant to the provisions of section 17050 of the Health and Safety Code, every person applying for an annual permit to operate employee housing shall pay the following fees to the Health Officer:
(a) A permit issuance fee.
(b) A permit to operate fee for each employee which the employee housing has the capacity to house, where such housing is supplied by the operator, and a fee for each lot or site provided for parking of mobile homes or recreational vehicles by employees.
(c) An amended permit fee for any transfer of ownership or possession of the employee housing.
(d) An amended permit fee and other fees specified in this section, for any increase in the number of employees to be housed or an increase in the number of lots or sites provided for parking of mobile homes or recreational vehicles by employees.

Sec. 4-8-4. - Reinspection fees.¶
The fees for a permit to operate shall be considered as inspection fees for the initial annual inspection of employee housing. When any reinspection is required pursuant to Title 25, California Code of Regulations, section 642, the operator shall pay a fee for each such reinspection.

Sec. 4-8-5. - Establishment of fees.¶
The amount of the fees shall be set by ordinance by the Board of Supervisors of Orange County not to exceed the maximum allowed pursuant to Article 4, Subchapter 3, Chapter 1, Division 1 of Title 25 of the California Code of Regulations.
