Sec. 6-8.918. Reporting backflow test results.

The City uses a unified cross-connection software system for the management and reporting of backflow prevention assemblies. Test results shall be electronically submitted to the City through an electronic portal by the due date prescribed in §§ 6-8.916 or 6-8.917 or when a device has been subjected to the criteria described in § 6-8.914. Copies of the completed forms shall also be sent to the local Health Department. The City will maintain records in accordance with Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook Section 3.5.1.

Sec. 6-8.919. Reporting of pollution or contamination.

In the event of contamination or pollution of the City’s distribution system due to a cross- connection on the premises, the local health officer and City shall be promptly advised by the person responsible for the premise so that appropriate measures may be taken to mitigate the contamination or pollution.
