Sec. 19A.26. - Penalties for violations.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall pay a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not more than ninety (90) days, or both. Each such person, firm or corporation shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for every day during any portion of which violations of this chapter, including any physical condition created in violation of this chapter, is permitted, continued or committed, by such person, firm or corporation and shall be punishable thereafter as provided above. Any work or structure constructed and/or maintained contrary to the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a public nuisance.
