9.20.010 - Prohibited.

No person shall possess or have under his or her control any liquid container made wholly or partially of any glass or ceramic material on any public street, sidewalk or alley in the historical district or any park or public trail on special event days designated by the city council beginning at 12:01 a.m. on the day of the event and continuing until 11:59 p.m. that same day. The special events referred to in this chapter are set forth on Exhibit A of Ordinance 2003-01, as codified in this chapter, or as subsequently designated by council resolution.

9.20.020 - Violation—Penalty.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a maximum penalty established by state law, with the current penalty being a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the first conviction, a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00) for a second conviction within one (1) year and a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each additional conviction within one (1) year.
