9.08.010 - Prohibited area.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to slaughter any animal, or to erect, maintain or use, or cause to be erected, maintained or used, any house, shed or other building as a slaughterhouse, or to dress or clean any slaughtered animal within that portion of the city described as follows:

All that portion of the city lying north of the northerly line of 20th Street produced westerly to an intersection with the line of ordinary high tide in the bay of San Diego, and east of the westerly line of National Avenue.

9.08.020 - Violation—Each day constitutes offense.

Each day in which any building is maintained or used as a slaughterhouse within that portion of the city described in Section 9.08.010 is a separate violation of this chapter and punishable as hereinafter provided.

9.08.030 - Violation—Penalty.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter is, upon conviction, guilty of an infraction and punishable as prescribed in Section 1.20.010.

9.08.040 - Violation—Declared nuisance.

The slaughtering of animals or the maintenance of any slaughterhouse within that portion of the city described in Section 9.08.010 is declared to be a public nuisance.
