National City Municipal Code Ch. 1.28 Arrest Powers

Any code conformance officer or compliance inspector, business license inspector, building inspector, fire chief, battalion chief, fire marshal, fire inspector and any other officer designated to enforce this code is authorized the powers of arrest and authority to issue citations for those specific ordinances and provisions of the code that they have a duty to enforce, as provided for in Section 836.5 of the California Penal Code.
