1.16.010 - County jail.

Any prisoner convicted of the violation of any provision of this code in which the penalty may be a jail sentence, and who has been duly sentenced by a court to be imprisoned therefor, may be incarcerated in the county jail instead of in the city jail, if it is so ordered by the court pronouncing the sentence.
