2.64.010 Qualifications for state aid.

The governing body of the city declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the state under the provisions of Section 13522, Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code.

2.64.020 City police department to adhere to prescribed standards.

Pursuant to Sections 13510.1 and 13512 of said Chapter 1, the Murrieta police department will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the Commission on Police Officer Standards and Training at all times while receiving state aid pursuant to said chapter.

2.64.030 Adherence to standards--Commission may make inquiries.

Pursuant to Section 13512, Chapter 1, the commission and its representatives may make such inquiries as deemed appropriate by the commission to ascertain that the Murrieta police department's peace officer and public safety dispatcher personnel adhere to standards for selection and training established by the commission on peace officer standards and training.
