5-6-300 - Weed, Rubbish, and Debris Prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for an owner of property located within the City to cause or permit accumulations of Weeds, Rubbish, or Debris to remain on the property. A person shall not dump, nor permit the dumping of Weeds, Rubbish, or Debris, nor shall a person permit the accumulation of Weeds, Rubbish, or Debris.

5-6-301 - Duty to Remove and Abate Weeds, Rubbish, and Debris.

It shall be the duty of every owner, occupant, and person in control of any parcel of land or interest therein, which is located within the City to remove, to remove or destroy, or cause the removal or destruction of Weeds, Rubbish, and Debris on the owner's property. The owner, lessee, or occupant of buildings, grounds, or lots within the City shall remove from such property and adjacent streets all Weeds, Rubbish, or Debris growing or accumulated thereon.

5-6-302 - Weeds, Rubbish, and Debris as Public Nuisance.

Weeds, Rubbish, or Debris growing or accumulating upon private property within the City of Mountain House that create a public hazard and that by virtue thereof constitute a danger to neighboring property or the health or welfare of residents of the vicinity are hereby declared to constitute a public nuisance which may be abated in accordance with the provisions of this Division.
