Mono County Municipal Code Ch. 12.12 Solid Waste Facilities

No person shall enter or use a county solid waste facility under any of the following circumstances:

A. When the solid waste facility is closed to the person wishing to enter or use the facility;

B. When the person entering or using the solid waste facility has failed to pay the gate fees, special waste fees, nonparticipant surcharges, permit fees, or other fees or charges imposed by the county with respect to such entry or usage;

C. When the person entering or using the solid waste facility has been expressly refused such entrance or usage by the solid waste facility operator or attendant or by the director; or

D. When the person entering or using the solid waste facility has failed to comply with any requirement or procedure duly established and promulgated by the director or the board with respect to such entry or usage.

No person shall place, store, or dispose of unpermitted waste at any county solid waste facility unless:

A. The waste has been treated or transformed and deemed by law to be solid waste; or

B. The county has developed a program to accept such waste for processing and the waste is provided in compliance with the requirements of that program.
