9.04.010 - Adherence to standards-Sheriff's department and office of district attorney.

Pursuant to Sections 13510.1 and 13512 of the Penal Code of the state of California, the Modoc County sheriff's department and the office of the Modoc County district attorney will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the commission on peace officer standards and training.

9.04.020 - Inquiries to insure standards-Sheriff's department and office of district attorney.

The commission and its representatives may make such inquiries as deemed necessary to ascertain that the peace officer personnel of the Modoc County sheriff's department and the Modoc County district attorney's office adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.

9.04.030 - Adherence to standards-Public safety dispatchers.

The county of Modoc declares it accepts the requirements of Section 13510(c), Chapter 1, of Title 4, Part 4, of the California Penal Code, and will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training ("POST") for public safety dispatchers.

9.04.040 - Inquiries to insure standards-Public safety dispatchers.

The county of Modoc will adhere to the requirements of Section 13512, Chapter 1, of Title 4, Part 4, of the California Penal Code, that the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training and its representatives may make such inquiries as deemed appropriate by the commission to ascertain that the Modoc County public dispatch personnel adhere to standards for selection and training established by the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training.
