12.16.010 - Conforms to chapter.¶
All space and house numbering in the city shall, from and after January 1, 1944, be made to conform to the provisions of this chapter and be under the supervision and direction of the building official.

12.16.020 - Duty of owner.¶
All entrances to buildings and enclosures from the public streets of the city must be numbered as provided in this chapter, and the duty of so numbering the same is imposed upon the owner and also upon the occupant of the building or enclosure to which any such entrance belongs or appertains.

12.16.030 - Numeral size.¶
The appropriate numbers in figures not less than two inches in height must be placed upon the building or enclosure or in some conspicuous place visible from the street in front thereof.

12.16.040 - Spacing within block.¶
One hundred numbers are allotted to each block (including the two sides of a street), a number to each and every twelve and one-half feet frontage.

12.16.050 - Even south and east—Odd north and west.¶
The even numbers shall be an the south and east sides of the streets and the odd numbers on the north and west sides of the streets.

12.16.060 - Streets running north and south.¶
On streets running north and south, the numbers shall begin "101" and "102" on the respective sides of the numbered streets at First Street; the numbers running consecutively upward save as affected by the provision allotting one hundred numbers to each block north and south from First Street to the city limits.

12.16.070 - Streets running east and west.¶
On streets running east and west, the numbers shall begin with "1" and "2" on the respective sides of the numbered streets at G Street; the numbers running consecutively upward save as affected by the provision allotting one hundred numbers to each black east and west from G Street to the city limits.

12.16.080 - Failure to comply—Misdemeanor.¶
All owners or persons in charge of buildings or enclosures shall cause the proper numbers to be placed upon the same as provided in conformity with the numbers required by this chapter and upon the failure to do so when required by the building official such person is guilty of a misdemeanor.

12.16.090 - Defacing or destroying—Misdemeanor.¶
No person shall willfully remove, destroy or mutilate any correct number placed as required by this chapter without immediately replacing it with another such number. Any person violating the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
