§ 5.91.010. Title.

The ordinance codified in this chapter may be cited as "Merced County Assessor Fees."

§ 5.91.020. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to establish fees for recouping costs incurred by the Merced County assessor for providing services. Pursuant to Government Code Title 5, Division 2, Part, 1 Chapter 12.5 of the California Government Code, any county can fix and collect charges for its service, in whole or in part, for the cost thereof.
