Chapter 13.20 — RAILROAD CROSSINGS

§ 13.20.010. Obstruction of Highway by Train.

No train of cars, either freight or passenger, shall be permitted to stand upon that portion of a railroad crossing a public highway, so as to obstruct the passage of vehicles over said highway, for a period to exceed five minutes at any one time. (Ord. 119, 1911)

§ 13.20.020. Violation—Penalty.

Any person or persons violating the requirements of the provisions in § 13.20.010 is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period not to exceed six months. (Ord. 119, 1911)
