Chapter 11.24 — IMPOUNDMENT OF VEHICLES

§ 11.24.010. Authority.

In accordance with the provisions of § 22652(a) of the Vehicle Code of the State, all peace officers in the County are authorized to remove and store any vehicles which have been parked or left standing upon a County road for seventy-two or more consecutive hours. (Ord. 859, 1977)

§ 11.24.020. Application of State Vehicle Code.

All such peace officers are required to follow all of the provisions as set forth in Division 11, Chapter 10, Articles 1, 2 and 3 of theVehicle Code of the State. (Ord. 859, 1977)

§ 11.24.030. Violation—Penalty.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be subject to the penalties set forth in Chapter 1.28.
