5.20.010 - Certain laws adopted by reference.

Requirements for the construction, operation, occupancy, rent, lease, sublease, let, or hiring out for occupancy, or the operation of any auto court, resort, or motel, or any portion thereof, shall be as provided in those certain documents hereinafter referred to which are hereby adopted as fully set forth herein. Three copies of each document are on file for the use and examination of the public in the office of the county clerk, and each is hereby adopted as the Auto Court, Resort and Motel Act of the county of Marin, which together with the Marin County housing ordinance and the Marin County building ordinance shall regulate the erection, construction and enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and maintenance of auto courts, resorts and motels; said documents are described in paragraphs 1 and 2 hereof as follows:

  1. All of that portion of the State Auto Court, Resort and Motel Act pertaining to auto courts, resorts and motels as provided for in Division 13, Part 2.1 of the Health and Safety Code of the state of California.

  2. Rules and regulations to implement, interpret and make specific provisions of the health and safety code relating to auto courts, resorts and motels of the division of housing, department of industrial relations, state of California, as provided for in Title 8, Chapter 9, Article 6 of the California Administrative Code in effect October 6, 1961.

5.20.020 - Penalty for violation.

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars, or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
