24.03.010 - General and community plans. ¶
All aspects of a proposed development shall be in conformance with the Marin countywide plan and any adopted and applicable general, specific or community plan. (Ord. 3181 § 5 (part), 1994)
24.03.020 - Design standards. ¶
(a)
All plans submitted to the county for review shall be in general accordance with the design standards set forth in this title. They shall be prepared by a professional possessing appropriate registration in the state of California for the preparation of the type of plan submitted unless this requirement is waived by the agency.
(b)
As determined appropriate by the agency, more stringent standards than those contained herein may be required for specific design elements of any particular development proposal.
(c)
If plans submitted for a proposed development contain elements which do not meet the minimum standards contained herein, a petition for exception may be required in accordance with Section 24.15.010.
(d)
If plans are inadvertently approved containing elements which do not meet the minimum standards contained herein and said nonconforming elements were not called to the attention of the agency, then those elements shall be redesigned and, if already built, reconstructed to meet the standards that would have been imposed had the nonconforming elements been brought to the attention of the agency.
