§ 16.11.010. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to set forth procedures for vesting tentative subdivision maps consistent with Sections 66498.1 et seq. of the Subdivision Map Act. The regulations outlined in this chapter are determined to be necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and general welfare and for the promotion of orderly growth and development. No land shall be subdivided and developed pursuant to a vesting tentative subdivision map for any purpose which is inconsistent with the general plan or any applicable specific plan or not permitted by the zoning ordinance or other applicable provisions of this code. § 16.11.020. Processing of vesting tentative subdivision maps.

A vesting tentative subdivision map shall be processed and filed in the same manner as a tentative subdivision map as provided in Chapter 16.09 of this title. (Ord. 936 § 1, 1992)

§ 16.11.030. Additional information required.

At the time a vesting tentative subdivision map is filed, a subdivider shall supply the following information in addition to that information required for a tentative map pursuant to Section 16.09.030 of this title.

  • A. Comprehensive listing of ordinances and regulations currently affecting the property;

  • B. Setback and yard requirements;

  • C. Details of streets, sewer, water and storm drainage;

  • D. Information on the uses to which the buildings will be put; and

  • E. Any other detailed information required by the community development director provided that such requirements for information are consistent with Section 66498.8 of the Subdivision Map Act.
