Mammoth Lakes Municipal Code Ch. 8.40 Aquatic Invasive Species

Chapters 16-10 through 16-140 of the County Code of Mono County, as such chapters may be amended (the "County Ordinance"), are hereby adopted by reference, subject to the amendments set forth in Section 8.40.020.

Geographic references to "Mono County" in the County Ordinance shall be deemed to refer to the Town of Mammoth Lakes, as the context may require. References to the "County" shall be deemed to include both the County of Mono and the Town of Mammoth Lakes or the County and/or the Town, as the context may require. References to the "Board of Supervisors" shall be deemed to include both the County Board of Supervisors and the Town Council. References to the "County Clerk" shall be deemed to include both the County Clerk and the Town Clerk. For avoidance of doubt, the geographic references in the "resident water vessel" definition in Section 20.1 of the County Ordinance shall include both Mono County and the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Section 70.1 of the County Ordinance shall be amended to read "Designated locations shall be established and a list of Authorized Screeners prepared, and the designated locations and list of Authorized Screeners shall be made publicly available. Section 100.1 of the County Ordinance is hereby amended to provide that the Mammoth Lakes Police Department and/or the Mono County Sheriff are authorized to enforce the County Ordinance. In Sections 110.1 and 110.2 of the County Ordinance, the references to the Mono County Code shall be amended to include references to the relevant provisions of the Mammoth Lakes Municipal Code.
