Madera County Municipal Code Ch. 10.35 Speed Limits

It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that the speed permitted by state law upon the roads hereafter designated in this chapter is greater or less than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to exist upon such roads and it is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as hereafter in this chapter specified on those roads or parts of roads designated, when signs are erected giving notice thereof.
