Madera County Municipal Code Ch. 10.20 Off-Street Parking Facilities

This chapter shall be known as the "Off-street Parking Facilities Ordinance." The purpose of this chapter is to make the provisions of Vehicle Code Sections 21458, 22350, 22500, 22500.1, 22507.8, 23109, 23153, and the provisions of Division 16.5, commencing with Section 38000, applicable to privately owned and maintained off-street parking facilities located within the county."

Vehicle Code Sections 21458, 22350, 22500, 22500.1, 22507.8, 23109, 23153 and the provisions of Division 16.5, commencing with Section 38000 of the Vehicle Code, shall apply to the following privately owned and maintained off-street parking facilities located within the county:

Lucky Seven Mini Mart, 37019 Avenue 12, Madera, CA 93637;

Ducey's Bass Lake Lodge, North Shore Drive, Bass Lake, CA 93604;

Plaza Market/El Tucan, 7112 Highway 145, Madera, CA 93637;

Farnesi's Restaurant, Highway 99 and Avenue 16, Madera, CA 93637;

Golden Chain Theater, Highway 41, Oakhurst, CA 93644;

Midway Market Complex, Highway 41, Oakhurst, CA 93644;

Mini Mart, Highway 41, Oakhurst, CA 93644;

Oakhurst Shopping Center, 49165 Road 426, Oakhurst, CA 93644;

La Perla Market, 12881 Highway 145, Madera, CA 93637;

Pioneer Market, 23519 West Robertson Boulevard, Chowchilla, CA 93610;

Redtop Market and Café, 22794 Road 4, Chowchilla, CA 93610;

Ripperdan Market and Hardware, 6802 Highway 145, Madera, CA 93637;

Shop-N-Go, Avenue 10 1/2 and Highway 41, Madera, CA 93637;

Sierra Professional Center, Oakhurst;

The Oaks Shopping Center, Highway 41, Oakhurst, CA 93644;

The Pines Resort, Road 432 and 434, Bass Lake, CA 93604 (All parking lots);

Valley Children's Hospital, Valley Children's Place, Madera, CA 93638;

W and G Market, 3300 Main Street, North Fork, CA 93643.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 10.20.020, this chapter shall not apply to any privately owned and maintained off-street parking facility unless the owner or operator of the facility has caused to be posted in a conspicuous place at each entrance to such off-street parking facility a notice, not less than seventeen inches by twenty-two inches in size with lettering not less than one inch in height, to the effect that such off-street parking facility is subject to public traffic regulations and control as provided by this chapter.
