25-190-1: LYNWOOD RESOLUTION 73-24:

Under the California environmental quality act of 1970 (CEQA), as amended, both public and private projects which have a significant environmental effect require the preparation, by the public agency, of an environmental impact report (EIR). To comply with the requirements of CEQA the city of Lynwood adopted resolution 73-24 on April 3, 1973. (Ord. #1563, §3)

25-190-2: GENERAL PROVISIONS:

CEQA is implemented pursuant to the provisions of California Public Resources Code 21000 et seq., and pursuant to the guidelines adopted by the secretary of resources and incorporated into the California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15000 et seq. The city of Lynwood will process and document both public and private projects in accordance with the laws and guidelines as may be amended from time to time. (Ord. #1563, §3)
