10.81.010 - Purpose.¶
The purpose of this Chapter is to establish a weight limit and load restriction on the Ravenna Bridge over Rivo Alto Canal.

10.81.020 - Scope.¶
A. In order to protect the public, the City of Long Beach accepts the findings and recommendations of the latest County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Works Bridge Load Rating Analysis, limiting the maximum weight and load of vehicles utilizing the Ravenna Bridge over Rivo Alto Canal.
B. The Ravenna Bridge over Rivo Alto Canal shall be restricted to a maximum weight and load of vehicles of thirty-four (34) tons.
C. The restriction shall remain in effect as long as signs giving notice thereof are posted at the bridge approaches in accordance with Section 21400 of the California Vehicle Code.
D. The City of Long Beach, Department of Public Works shall erect and maintain suitable signs in accordance with Section 21400 of the California Vehicle Code.

10.81.030 - Violations.¶
Violations of this Chapter shall be punishable in accordance with California Vehicle Code section 35753.
