Lompoc Municipal Code Ch. 2.16 Management Services Director

In order to establish a central program for the uniform processing and development of all fiscal and budgetary functions the office of the Management Services Director is established.

The Management Services Director shall prepare and present to the City Manager, or to the Director of Fiscal Services if such position has been designated by the City Manager, a report for submission to the Council in sufficient detail to show the financial condition of the City monthly, or at such other times as may be desired. The report shall include a statement of all receipts, disbursements and balances of the City and such other financial data as may be required by the Council or the City Manager.

The Management Services Director is hereby charged with the responsibility for the accounting and other financial activities of the City in accordance with Sections 37208 and 40802 through 40805 of the Government Code. In accordance with the provisions of Section 40805.5 of the Government Code, the financial and accounting duties imposed upon the City Clerk under Sections 40802 through 40805 of the Government Code are transferred to the Management Services Director.
