5-3-1: CURFEW:¶
A. Age and Hour Restrictions: Every person under the age of eighteen (18) years who loiters about the public streets, avenues, alleys, parks or other public places between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) P.M., Pacific standard time, or eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M., daylight savings time, and the time of sunrise of the following day when not accompanied by his parent or legal guardian having legal custody and control of such person is guilty of a misdemeanor. B. Definition of Loiter: The words "to loiter" as used in this Section are defined to mean to idle, to loaf, to stand idly by or to walk, drive or ride about aimlessly without lawful purpose. (1975 Code §7-3.02)
C. Responsibility of Parents and Guardians: Every parent, guardian or other person having the legal care, custody or control of any person under the age of eighteen (18) years who knowingly aids, abets or encourages such person described in subsection A hereof to violate any provision of this Section is guilty of a misdemeanor. (1975 Code §7-3.03)
D. Penalty: Any minor violating the provisions of subsection A hereof shall be dealt with in accordance with juvenile court law and procedure. (1975 Code §7-3.04)
