8.08.010 - Adoption by reference of the county public health ordinance.

Except as hereinafter provided, that certain public health ordinance known and designated as the Los Angeles County Public Health Ordinance No. 7583 as amended from time to time, shall be and become the public health ordinance of the city, regulating communicable diseases, environmental sanitation and radiation protection.

8.08.020 - Public record.

Three copies of the Los Angeles County Public Health Ordinance shall be kept and maintained at all times in the office of the city clerk of the city for use and examination by the public.

8.08.030 - Violation—Penalty.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each day or portion thereof during which such violation continues and shall be punishable therefor as herein provided.
