Sec. 19-138. - Restricted sidewalks.

138.1 Pursuant to the authority of Sections 21100 and 21967 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, it shall be unlawful for any person to ride or propel a bicycle or skateboard on any of the following sidewalks:

(a) Those sidewalks located adjacent to Main Street, Upper Lake, between Second Street and State Highway 20.

138.2 The Road Commissioner shall place or cause to be placed in a conspicuous place on each entrance to each sidewalk designated in Section 19-138.1 an adequate sign or marking bearing the words "Bicycles/Skateboards Prohibited."

138.3 Penalty. Any violation of Section 138.1 shall constitute an infraction and shall be punishable for a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00), nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
