Sec. 8-1-1000. - Adoption.¶
As adopted in section 8-1-12, the 2025 Edition of the California Green Building Standards Code shall be the Green Building Standards Code of the city, regulating the construction, alteration, movement, repair, equipment, use, and occupancy, location, maintenance, removal, demolition, of every building or structure or any appurtenances connected or attached to such buildings or structures in the city.

Sec. 8-1-1000.1. - Compliance with CALGreen recycling requirements.¶
Persons applying for a permit from the city for new construction and building additions and alternations shall also comply with the requirements of section 6-3-709 (compliance with CALGreen recycling requirements) found in article 7 (organic waste disposal reduction) of division 3 (sewage and solid waste disposal) of title 6 (health and sanitation).
