La Verne Municipal Code Ch. 15.12 Relocation Permits

A relocation permit shall not be issued by the building official unless:

A. The proposed use conforms to Title 18 of this code;

B. The city council, after review and recommendation by the planning commission, shall, by resolution, grant the moving on or off of any structure or portion of any structure. Before such resolution shall be granted, a public hearing shall be held in accordance with Sections 18.108.070 through 18.108.110 of this code. Provisions must be made that any structure or portion of any structure relocated must be brought to conformance with current building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, zoning and other applicable codes of the city. In any case, the city shall not allow any structure or portion of any structure which is relocated to cause any appreciable harm to or be materially detrimental to property and improvements in the district within a radius of one thousand feet (304.8 meters).
