§ 18.28.010. Designated. ¶
In order to carry out the purpose and provisions of this title, the city is divided into various zones, designated as follows:

§ 18.28.020. Residential zones. ¶
As used in this title, residential zones shall mean the following:

§ 18.28.030. Nonresidential zones. ¶
As used in this title, nonresidential zones shall mean the following:

§ 18.28.040. Modifications. ¶
With respect to lot sizes, side yard, front yard and rear yard setbacks, and only in connection with the approval of subdivision maps filed with the city, the city shall have the authority to permit a ten percent modification. Such modification may be allowed when it is necessary in order to assure a well-designed development and to permit the best use of all land within that development. (Ord. 906 § 3, 1997)
§ 18.28.050. Annexations. ¶
Areas annexed to the city shall be temporarily classified in the A-1 zone unless and until the city council adopts different classifications in the manner provided for zone changes in this title. Such changes may be initiated prior to the effective date of annexation and may be effective upon annexation.
