1.08.010 - State law applicable.¶
All municipal elections held within the city shall be held under the general election laws of the state so far as the same may be applicable.

1.08.020 - Election date, expenses.¶
A. The Kingsburg municipal election shall hereafter be held on the same date as the statewide general election in California commencing with November, 1984.
B. All prior ordinances or resolutions to the contrary are herewith repealed.
C. The entire ordinance codified in this section shall not be codified in the Kingsburg Municipal Code but the city clerk shall give the notice to all registered voters as required by state law.
D. That upon properly documented proof of expenses incurred relating to the county's costs, over and above their costs of processing general statewide elections, the city shall reimburse the county for such expenses through its normal warrant procedure.
