8.24.010 - Definitions.¶
Unless otherwise required by the context, the definitions contained in the Employee Housing Act (Health and Safety Code Section § 17000 et seq.) shall apply to this chapter.

8.24.020 - County assumption of responsibility.¶
Pursuant to the authority vested in the board of supervisors by the Employee Housing Act (Health and Safety Code Section § 17000 et seq.) and the regulations promulgated pursuant thereto (Title 25, California Administrative Code, Section 600 et seq.), the county assumes responsibility for the enforcement of the above act and regulations thereto.

8.24.030 - Enforcement agency designated.¶
The county designates the public health services department of the county as the enforcement agency within the meaning of the above act, both (i) within the unincorporated area of the county, and (ii) within the territory of those incorporated cities that have in force an agreement with the county wherein the public health services department of the county is designated the enforcement agency for such city within the meaning of the act.

8.24.040 - Operator permit fees.¶
Every person applying for an annual permit to operate a labor camp, as defined in the Health and Safety Code (Section 17008), shall submit, along with the application on a form provided by the public health services department of the county, the fee as established by the board of supervisors.
