4.04.010 - Adoption requirements—Exemptions.

A. The annual budget of the county shall be adopted by resolution as provided for in Government Code Section 29088 (Added Stats. 1963, C. 1209, p. 2716, Section 2), except that such resolution must be adopted by at least a four-fifths (⅘) affirmative vote of the board of supervisors.

B. The requirements of this chapter may be waived in the event of any emergency as defined by and declared in accordance with Government Code Section 29127 (Added Stats. 1963, C. 1209, Section 2). Only those actions arising from and relating directly to the declared emergency may be considered exempted from the requirements of this chapter.
