Sec. 4-11-801. - Temporary canopy structures.

A. No person shall erect, maintain, or allow a canopy on the exterior of any residential property for a period in excess of a total of 48 hours for every 14-day period.

B. Any canopy erected, maintained or allowed to exist on the exterior of a residential property must be in good condition, with no excessive fading, and with no tears, holes, or rips.

For purposes of this section, the term "canopy" shall include all structures, canopies, temporary carports, membrane structures, or other canopies that are temporary coverings of plastic, cloth, nylon, or other similar materials, including, but not limited to, prefabricated canopies available from retail outlets such as an E-Z UP.
