§ 7.68.010. Authority to execute CalWORKS program contract.

The Inyo County manager, employment services is authorized to execute on behalf of the county, the county's Standard Contract No. 128 (Independent Contractor—CalWORKS Program AWEX Worksite), upon the following terms and conditions:

A. The maximum term for any single contract shall be one year. However, this limitation shall not prevent the Inyo County manager, employment services from executing on behalf of the county successive one year contracts with the same worksite; and

B. There shall be no monetary compensation paid by county to worksite; and

C. The amount of insurance required of worksite shall be determined by the Inyo County risk manager; and

D. The Inyo County manager, employment services program shall not execute the contract on behalf of the county until such contract is executed by the worksite, and approved by county counsel, county auditor, the director of personnel services, and the county risk manager; and

E. The authority delegated to the Inyo County manager, employment services to execute the county Standard Contract No. 128 (Independent Contract—CalWORKS Program AWEX Worksite) extends to that contract as it may be, from time to time, revised and updated by the office of county counsel.

The Inyo County manager, employment services is authorized to execute on behalf of the county, the county's Standard Contract No. 121 (CalWORKS program on-the-job training and employment services contract) upon the following terms and conditions:

A. The maximum term for any single contract shall be one year. However, this limitation shall not prevent the Inyo County manager, employment services from executing on behalf of the county of Inyo successive one year contracts with the same employer; and

B. The monetary compensation paid by county to employer shall not exceed that authorized by Cal-WORKS program rules, regulations and statutes; and

C. The Inyo County manager, employment services program shall not execute the contract on behalf of the county until such contract is executed by the employer, and approved by county counsel, county auditor and the county risk manager; and

D. The authority delegated to the Inyo County manager, employment services to execute the county Standard Contract No. 121 (CalWORKS program on-the-job training and employment services contract) extends to that contract as it may be, from time to time, revised and updated by the office of county counsel.

The Inyo County manager, employment services, is authorized to execute on behalf of the county, the county's Standard Contract No. 125 (JTPA Upgrade/OJT Contract) upon the following terms and conditions:

A. The maximum term for any single contract shall be one year. However, this limitation should not prevent the Inyo County manager, employment services from executing on behalf of the county successive contracts with the same employer; and

B. The monetary compensation paid by the county to the employer shall not exceed that authorized by JTPA program rules, regulations and statutes; and

C. The monetary compensation paid by county in any single contract shall not exceed three thousand dollars; and

D. The Inyo County manager, employment services, program shall not execute the contract on behalf of the county until such contract is executed by the employer, and approved by county counsel, and county auditor; and

E. The authority delegated to the Inyo County manager, employment services to execute the county Standard Contract No. 125 extends to that contract as it may be, from time to time, revised and updated by the office of county counsel.
