§ 10.46.010. Authority.¶
Section 40203.5 of the California Vehicle Code provides that a schedule of parking penalties for parking violations, late payment penalties, administrative fees, and other related charges for parking violations shall be established by the governing body of the jurisdiction where the notice of violations is issued.

§ 10.46.020. Purpose.¶
The purpose of this chapter is to establish the schedule of parking penalties and late payment penalties for parking violations where the notice of violation is issued in the unincorporated area of the county.

The schedule of penalties, late payment penalties, administrative fees and other related charges for parking violations of the California Vehicle Code and Inyo County Code Chapters 10.30, 10.40 and 10.44, occurring within the unincorporated area of the county is as follows:

C. Late Payment Penalty. The payment for a parking violation wherein an owner or operator has received a notice of parking violation and failed to pay the penalty or contest the notice of parking violation, within ten days, excluding Sundays and holidays, shall be the late payment penalty set forth in this schedule.
