Sections: Additional Recording Fees. 714-1. Additional Recording Fees. There is hereby imposed an additional fee of One Dollar ($1.00) for recording every instrument, paper, or notice for record, in order to defray the cost of converting the Recorder’s document storage system to micrographics. Upon completion of the conversion and payment of the conversion costs, such additional fee shall no longer be imposed. The additional One Dollar ($1.00) fee shall be deposited in a special trust fund for the Auditor-Controller, and the deposition of such funds shall be determined at the conclusion of pending litigation.
