2.16.010 - Planning commission—Established.¶
There is created and established in the city a planning commission.

2.16.020 - Planning agency designated.¶
The planning commission shall be the planning agency of the city.

2.16.030 - Planning commission—Composition—Member appointment.¶
The composition of the planning commission and appointment of members to the planning commission shall be determined by resolution of the city council.

2.16.040 - Planning commission—Compensation.¶
Members of the planning commission may receive a monthly salary as established by resolution of the city council; provided, however, that nothing in this chapter shall preclude reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred by a member of the planning commission in the performance of official duties for the city.

2.16.050 - Planning commission—Terms of members—Vacancies.¶
The terms of planning commission members and the filling of vacancies of planning commission members shall be determined by resolution of the city council.

2.16.060 - Planning commission—Removal of member.¶
The procedure for removing a planning commission member shall be determined by resolution of the city council.

2.16.070 - Planning commission—Powers, functions and duties.¶
The powers, functions and duties of the planning commission shall be set forth in the statutes of the state of California, as well as in applicable ordinances and resolutions of the city.

2.16.080 - Planning commission—Meetings.¶
Regular meetings of the planning commission shall be held at such time and place as is determined by resolution of the city council.
