Chapter 13-26 — Zoning Regulations and Development Standards for the New Pacific… — Hercules Zoning Code

Sec. 13-26.100 Purposes. ¶

The purposes of the establishment of Zoning Regulations and Development Standards for the New Pacific Properties Specific Plan area are to:

Promote redevelopment of the Pacific Refinery site into a new, predominately residential neighborhood;
Guide residential and commercial development within this community, thereby creating a high quality product and environment, establishing a strong tax base for the City, and instilling new vitality into a blighted area. [Ord. 515 § 2, 2018; Ord. 353 § 1, 2000; ZO § 26.100.]

The zoning regulations and development standards for the New Pacific Properties Specific Plan area are established as set forth in Chapter 4 of the New Pacific Properties Specific Plan, as adopted by the City Council of the City by Resolution No. 00-42 on April 11, 2000.
Zoning Maps. City staff is hereby directed to prepare revised City zoning maps consistent with the zoning designations set forth in this Title. The Hercules Zoning Map shall designate the area as “New Pacific Properties Specific Plan.” [Ord. 515 § 2, 2018; Ord. 353 § 1, 2000; ZO § 26.200.]
