§ 12.13.010. Posting bills on utility poles, mailboxes or trees.

No person shall post, attach to, paste on or in any other way affix any notices, bills, posters, cards or advertisements to telegraph, telephone, light or other public service poles or posts, cluster box units or other mailboxes, or on any tree growing in a public place on the public streets, lanes, alleys and parks in the City.

§ 12.13.020. Removal of postings.

Any employee of the City may, upon finding any posting in violation of this chapter, immediately remove and destroy the posted object.

§ 12.13.030. Violation—Penalty.

Any person guilty of violating any of the provisions of this chapter, or performing any act declared by this chapter to be unlawful, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine and/or imprisonment in accordance with the general provisions then in effect in the City, pursuant to Chapter 1.08 of this code as amended. The City may, at its discretion, impose civil penalties as set forth in Chapters 1.10 and 1.11 of this code.
