9.20.010 - Discharge of weapons.

It is unlawful to discharge any firearm or airgun, BB gun, or any toy gun, or any other device, projecting lead or any missiles excepting in a regularly established shooting gallery; provided, that this section shall not be construed to prohibit any officer of the law from discharging a firearm in the performance of his duty; nor to any citizen from discharging a firearm when lawfully defending person or property.

9.20.020 - License for concealed weapons.

Pursuant to Section 12054 of the Penal Code, in addition to the fee established by the department of justice of the state, a fee of three dollars is fixed to be charged by the police department of the city for processing a new license or for the renewal of an existing license to carry a concealed weapon, which additional fee shall be transmitted to the city treasury.
