10.20.010 - Sweeping zones designated.

For the purpose of street sweeping, the City is hereby subdivided into six sweeping zones (see attached map).

Parking is prohibited on streets of Zone 1 on the first Thursday of each month from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

10.20.030 - Zone 2.

Parking is prohibited on streets of Zone 2 on the first Thursday of each month from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Parking is prohibited on streets of Zone 4 on the third Thursday of each month from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Parking is prohibited on streets of Zone 6 on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

10.20.080 - Permit to park in prohibited area.

The City Manager or his appointed representative shall have the authority to issue to any person a revocable written parking permit to park or leave standing a vehicle upon written application setting forth the reasons therefor. Such permit shall be issued for a specified period of time and may be revoked by notice, in writing, to the applicant. Terms and conditions are to be as are reasonable and necessary to insure safety of persons and property, and that it will be in the best interest of the neighborhood and will prevent any adverse effect upon persons or property affected thereby. The City Manager may issue such permit if the following findings can be made:

A. That good reason exists to park such vehicle upon a prohibited area in that an emergency or unusual circumstance requires the parking of such vehicle upon such area and no other suitable alternative exists;

B. That no adjacent properties will be adversely affected thereby;

C. That the vehicle and area immediately around it is maintained in a clean and orderly manner without the accumulation of trash or debris thereabouts.

10.20.090 - Notice of prohibitions.

Adequate notice of such prohibited parking shall be given by signs erected at the entrances to each area setting forth the days and hours parking is prohibited.

10.20.100 - Violation—Fine.

The fine for violation of this Chapter shall be set by resolution of the City Council.
