State Law reference— For statutory provisions authorizing cities and counties to adopt a code of ordinances by reference, see Gov. Code §§ 50022.1—50022.8 and 50022.10.

The ordinances of the county of Fresno, with certain exceptions, having heretofore in 1954 been compiled into a comprehensive code and adopted by reference in the manner prescribed by law, and said code, as amended, has been recompiled as printed and bound by the Book Publishing Company of Seattle, Washington, into a code known and designated as the "Ordinance Code of Fresno County." Said code as so recompiled and designated after public hearing thereon as provided by Section 50022.3 of the Government Code of the state is hereby approved, enacted and adopted by reference pursuant to Section 50022.10 of the Government Code of the state.
