2.26.010 Creation.¶
There is created and established the fire department of the city of Foster City. (Ord. 220 § 1 (part), 1981)
2.26.020 Fire chief.¶
The fire chief shall discharge all duties imposed by law upon him as fire chief. (Ord. 220 § 1 (part), 1981)
2.26.030 Appointment—Direction.¶
The fire chief shall be appointed by the city manager and shall carry out his duties under the direction of the city manager. (Ord. 220 § 1 (part), 1981)
