2.16.010 Appointment.¶
The city council shall appoint the city treasurer. (Ord. 6 § 1 (part), 1971: prior code § 2-401)
2.16.020 Term of office.¶
The city treasurer shall serve at the pleasure of the city council. (Ord. 6 § 1 (part), 1971: prior code § 2-402)
2.16.030 Duties.¶
The city treasurer shall discharge such duties as are imposed upon him by law. In addition, he shall perform all accounting duties imposed by law upon the city clerk. (Ord. 200 § 4, 1980: Ord. 6 § 1 (part), 1971: prior code § 2-403)
