Sec. 16-131. - Definition.

For purposes of this division, the term "dangerous or deadly weapon" includes but is not limited to:

(1)

Any knife with a blade three inches or more in length;

(2)

Any icepick or similar sharp stabbing tool;

(3)

Any straight-edge razor or any razor blade fitted to a handle;

(4)

Any dangerous or deadly weapon within the meaning of any law of the state restricting the use thereof; or

(5)

Any cutting, stabbing or bludgeoning weapon or device capable of inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Sec. 16-132. - Concealed weapons generally.

No person, while carrying concealed upon his person any dangerous or deadly weapon, shall loaf or loiter upon any public street, sidewalk or alley, or wander about from place to place with no lawful business thereby to perform, or hide, lurk or loiter upon or about the premises of another.

Sec. 16-133. - Possession on school premises.

No person shall have any deadly or dangerous weapon concealed upon his person or shall have any such weapon in his immediate physical possession while in a school or upon school premises.

Sec. 16-134. - Carrying concealed weapon near public place.

No person who has concealed upon his person any dangerous or deadly weapon shall loiter about any place where intoxicating liquors are sold or any other place where the public attends.

Sec. 16-135. - Possession in automobile.

No person shall have in his possession, in any automobile, any dangerous or deadly weapon, but this restriction shall not be deemed to prohibit the carrying of ordinary tools or equipment carried in good faith for uses of honest trade or business, or for the purpose of legitimate sport or recreation.

Sec. 16-136. - Fighting while in possession of weapon.

No person who has concealed upon his person or who has in his immediate physical possession any dangerous or deadly weapon shall engage in any fight or participate in any other rough or disorderly conduct.

Sec. 16-137. - Confiscation and destruction.

Any dangerous or deadly weapon possessed or controlled in violation of this article by any person shall be confiscated by the chief of police and, upon a plea of guilty or upon the conviction thereof in the case of an adult or upon the findings of the allegations to be true in the case of a juvenile, shall be destroyed by the chief of police after such plea, after judgment of conviction becomes final, or after the allegations are found to be true.
